Ballet Arizona 1-888-3BALLET

Arizona's only professional dance company. Ballet Arizona offers a full repertoire of quality classical and contemporary dance works, with resident dancers from all over the world.

Ballet Arts Foundation/Ballet Tucson 623-3373

Ballet Arts Foundation supports its performing entity (Ballet Tucson) and sponsors various master classes, dance workshops and an international exchange program. Each December, Tucson's own full-length holiday classic, The Nutcracker, is performed involving over 120 adults and local children. Several mixed-repertoire concerts are given during the winter and spring months, offering historic classics and innovative contemporary ballets. The season concludes with an annual summer dance workshop in cooperation with UA Dance Division. The workshop culminates in a public performance in late June.

This group is a Southern Arizona-based, nonprofit dance company established in 1986, which continues to share its talent and professionalism with local audiences.

Ballet Folklorico Arizona 544-9543

Founded in 1994 by Artistic Director Julie Gallego, Ballet Folklorico Arizona is a professional dance group that presents folkloric traditions of both Mexico and Arizona. Through the medium of dance, the group wishes to create awareness of the cultural heritage of the Southwest, and therefore does not limit itself to Mexican Folklorico but also includes in its program Flamenco, Western Hoedown and other dances that promote cultural diversity.

Ballet Folklorico San Juan 544-9543

Founded in 1987 by Artistic Director Julie Gallego, this dynamic dance troupe is composed of over 100 dancers ages 4 to 18 years of age. Proclaimed "Tucson's Official Mexican Folklorico Dance Group," Ballet Folklorico San Juan has achieved popular acclaim both nationally and internationally. The group has a repertory that ranges from Aztec Rituals to the traditional Mexican Hat Dance with dazzling costumes indigenous to the regions of Mexico.

Tucson Regional Ballet 886-1222

A company of up-and-coming young professional dancers, TRB's annual holiday offering, A Southwest Nutcracker, translates the traditional Nutcracker to an original full-length classic, complete with Coyote Banditos and the Fort Lowell Cavalry. A spring performance will feature La Boutique Fantasque, a delightful and romantic tale of a magical doll shop. Performances at the TCC Leo Rich Theatre.
